Leone Human

Leoné is an Electrical Engineering Technologist registered with the Engineering Counsel of South Africa (ECSA) with 16 years of experience within Eskom’s engineering departments. She studied Electrical Engineering – Heavy Current through a bursary with Eskom at the Tswane University of Technology.

Her experience ranges from MV/LV minor retic planning and design, HV Line and Substation design, Project Management and Execution and middle management over 16 years within Eskom. Leoné has achieved great success as the project lead in the Eastern Cape for electrification projects funded by the Department of Minerals, Energy and Resources (DMRE) and executed by municipalities.

In 2021 she won the national distribution manager’s award for “Best Project” with her team. In 2022, the team won the distribution Cape Coastal Cluster award for “Excellence” and was a finalist for the national award.
