• 2x 60kW Ground-mounted Solar PV Installed
• 2x Huawei SUN2000-50KTL-M0 Inverter
• Annual production of Solar PV is 219MWh
We have designed and provided two separate 60kW ground-mounted solar PV systems for an irrigation farmer located in the Eastern Cape. Both of these systems are grid-tied Small-Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) systems, with the primary goal of reducing electricity expenses. For each installation, we've incorporated a Huawei SUN2000-50KTL-M0 inverter.
The annual electricity generation for each system averages around 219 MWh. To enhance the self-sufficiency of the farm and enable significant cost savings during Eskom's peak periods, we are introducing a 50kW Mega-Revo hybrid inverter and a 200kWh BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) from Lithium Valley. This addition will ensure up to 5 hours of independence from the grid.
The installation of these systems was carried out by Luken Solar.
